Global and Border Health New Collaboration
The University of Arizona College of Medicine–Tucson Office of Global and Border Health is excited to announce a new collaboration with the Tucson-based nonprofit Quality Education & Water For All (QEWFA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Togo. Through this partnership, the UA Global Health team will conduct a community needs assessment to help inform the development of a clinic in rural Togo, with the goal of improving access to healthcare services for local communities. In addition to serving patients, the clinic will provide valuable educational and clinical learning opportunities for medical students and residents.
To support this initiative, we are launching fundraising efforts that include an art auction and a general donation campaign. If you are interested in contributing, please know that all donations are tax-deductible. Funds raised will support the community needs assessment and the development of the clinic site in rural Togo.
