Keynote Speaker
Brian Drummond, MD, FAAEM, is a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Tucson and an emergency physician at Banner University Medical Center. His work focuses on the intersection of climate change, environmental exposures, and human health, with particular attention to extreme heat, health equity, and sustainable healthcare systems. Dr. Drummond is a co-founder of Arizona Health Professionals for Climate Action, where he works to advance clinician education, research, and advocacy related to climate and public health. Through his clinical teaching, research collaborations, and public engagement, he emphasizes practical, evidence-based approaches to addressing climate-related health risks in emergency and global health settings.
