Francisco Mora

Francisco Mora, MD, 2023 Ron & Karen Pust Faculty Global Health Award Recipient

Dr. Mora is a bilingual critical care physician trained at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York with an additional three years of internal medicine training and two years of general surgery training at the University of Arizona. His expertise is in the design, implementation, and evaluation of international programs and projects in trauma and emergency systems development, continuing medical education, and telemedicine. He has extensive experience working in health care provision and system design in Latin America, Romania, Kosovo, Philippines, and the USA including Native American reservations.  He is skilled in surgical and medical missions in underserved areas and has experience as an advanced trauma life support instructor and a basic trauma course instructor for the Pan-American Trauma Society. The University of Arizona College of Medicine is proud to have a diverse corps of physicians such as Dr. Mora to teach our residents and medical students.
