Adrienne Kishi, 2021 Nehal Shah Memorial Global Health Award
Recipient

Like Nehal, Adrienne Kishi has been a leader in the Global Health Forum and the Global Health Distinction Track. Adrienne is also participating in the Medical Spanish Distinction Track and the Rural Health Distinction Track. She has followed in Nehal’s footsteps by being involved in the Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Clinics which are student-run, physician supervised-clinics caring for various underserved people in Tucson.

Adrienne has been preparing for her excellence in global health throughout her young adult life. As an undergraduate at the University of Arizona, she majored in physiology, while minoring in French and Spanish. Between her undergraduate studies and medical school, she taught English in both France and Japan and volunteered with refugee children in Tucson. Adrienne is a deserving recipient of the Nehal Shah Memorial Global Health Award as she reflects many of the values and attributes that Dr. Shah represented.
