Stephen Horras, 2013 Nehal Shah Memorial Global Health Award

Stephen Horras was president of the student Global Health Forum in his second year, organizing a border health educational program for our campus jointly with his counterparts from the University of Sonora in Mexico. This is now an annual event. Within the Global Health Distinction Track, Mr. Horras did his Global Health Clinical Preceptorship in Cuenca, Ecuador, where he once worked as a Marquette student and became fluent in Spanish. He was selected by his classmates for membership in the Arnold Gold Humanism Honorary Society.
